SUMMARY 

Ansys is transforming the way customers can access its simulation products, enabling them to try or buy products or services via a self-service online system. You will be on the forefront of this exciting transformation, working in a dynamic team of engineers and UX specialists, developing an e-commerce platform, using the latest cloud technologies and modern CI/CD development practices. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Complete development activities within a CI/CD development process, including the design, implementation, maintenance, testing and documentation of software modules and sub-systems.

  • Perform complex bug verification, unit and release testing and second/third level support for assigned products.  Analyze and develop solutions to problems discovered by QA or product support 

  • Understand market and customer needs.  Research new technologies and development tools to ensure that the product satisfies requirements and performs well 

  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field

  • 2 years work experience for Bachelor's degree holders.  No experience requirement for Master's degree holders

  • Strong C# skills, under Visual Studio IDE

  • Experience developing and deploying web applications  

  • Experience with object-oriented design and design patterns 

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated success in a collaborative team environment 

  • Passion for crafting robust and modular code 

  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 1-2 years of commercial software development experience 

  • Experience with web technologies such as ASP.net Razor, JavaScript, Angular, TypeScript and jQuery  

  • Experience with NoSql databases (Azure Cosmos DB/MongoDB) 

  • Microservices experience  

  • Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure 

  • Experience with RESTful APIs
