SUMMARY

 

The Regional Facilities Manager, EMEA is a key leadership role within Global Real Estate and Facilities Management that is directly responsible for ensuring consistent and optimized processes and services are delivered to global internal customers in various regions (EMEA). This position ensures high levels of customer satisfaction for multiple customers while driving the success of each region’s most important strategic and tactical goals and objectives. The Leader is responsible for providing inter-regional services and support and actively seeking out and leveraging cross-regional synergies

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 

  • Support the Sr. Manager Real Estate and Facilities in all real estate activities within the region to include, but not limited to, the following: site selection, acquisitions, lease negotiation, renewals and dispositions
  • Manages regional budget and total cost of ownership for regional real estate, infrastructure and workplace ensuring coordination with the Accounting team
  • Develops strategic planning and budgeting for RE&F and maintains key strategic and customer relationships with regional leadership
  • Provides strategic leadership for real estate, facilities, security, environmental health and safety support for the region
  • Proactively coordinates transaction management, project management, property management, occupancy management, etc.
  • Responsible for developing global vendor relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction with vendor services
  • Management and coordination of Facilities and Security operations of ANSYS leased and owned space within the region
  • Drive operational efficiency and standardization throughout the region

 

 

 

JOB MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Considerable international real estate experience
  • Process understanding of business strategy and projected business unit requirements for the workplace, infrastructure, real property, and facilities, including impact on the portfolio plan
  • Demonstrates experience managing real estate and facilities strategy, organization, process, and technology-related change in geographically dispersed locations
  • Possesses strong communications, customer service, presentation and change management skills
  • Financial and business acumen in multi-cultural environments
  • Should have experience in analyzing financial transactions and managing construction project budget
  • Should possess strong leadership and people management skills and should be able to work with employees across all levels and business units
  • Should possess extremely strong work ethics
  • Other duties as assigned

 

 

OTHER INFORMATION

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or real estate /candidates with diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering with experience in real estate and facilities/ alternatively, individuals could have gained the same level of knowledge and skill through on the job experience and training
  • Professional registration or Master’s degree a plus
  • Local language and fluent English skills, knowledge of multiple languages in EMEA an added advantage
  • Should be able to work on the phone and computer for an extended period of time
  • Considerable travelling will be required
