Thus, through our enriching internship program, we help develop the next-generation of engineers and technologists.  As a student intern, you will help develop our industry-leading simulation software while gaining real experience in your field of study. You will work on a variety of impactful products to help maintain, advance, and accelerate Ansys products. 

  

As an Electronics Development Operations Intern, you will join a team responsible for the Software Development Lifecycle of state-of-the-art electromagnetics, circuit and system simulators.This is a 40-hour per week paid position, starting May 2025 and concluding August 2025. This position is remote. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • ​Work alongside software developers during the design, implementation, and verification process of the 3D EM products. 

  • Develop prototypes or test new toolkits. 

  • Investigate defects in production code. 

  • Evaluate and integrate AI tool CoPilot, PyQt to develop tools to help development
  • Write automation scripts in python to improve or enhance existing SDLC processes

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Pursuing BS or MS in electrical engineering, computer science or related technical field.
  • Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and at the time of the internship/co-op position.
  • Sharp and tenacious problem-solving skills.
  • Python programming skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with software development is a plus.
