Reporting to the R&D Verification Engineering Manager, the R&D Verification Engineer performs software testing to ensure that developed products meet design specifications and are within total quality management limits and standards. 



  • Designs, documents, and applies customized testing procedures to perform unit, integration, performance, functionality, and acceptance testing of products under development on all supported hardware platforms.
  • Investigates, prioritizes, and assigns software defect reports and enhancement requests. Understands and reproduces product defects, and works with developers to determine the best resolution.
  • Tracks and reports metrics measuring the quality and release status of software products under development.
  • Uses and develops scripts and other automated testing tools.
  • Communicates with software developers and application engineers to resolve moderately complex product issues.
  • Approves product releases from development when feature specifications and quality standards are reached.



  • Master’s degree in Engineering or related technical field, or a Bachelor’s degree plus minimum three years technical experience in engineering, software testing or development.
  • Organization and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.



  • Technical knowledge of engineering and physics principles.
  • Working knowledge of software testing methodologies and skills in project planning and implementation.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
  • Familiarity with EDA/CAE software as well as programming skills desirable.
