Join the Ansys Student Internship Program to apply your education to solve real world software engineering problems, advance career skills and experience work at Ansys.

Ideally we would need a student based in the Munich area for a 6 month full time compulsory internship

The student intern (m/f/d) will be part of the Research and Development team.

Ansys providing solutions for cloud-based simulation solver.   

The intern will use advanced technical and problem-solving skills to help the team tackle complex issues, satisfy customer requirements, and accomplish development objectives.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the R&D team to software design, develop, test, and debug software applications related to simulation tools. 
  • Assist in the development of software modules, algorithms, and data structures to support simulation capabilities. 
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and performance. 
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues. 
  • Contribute to the documentation of software designs, coding standards, and best practices. 
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and tools related to simulation and software development. 

 

 

MINIMUM EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related program.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as C++, Python, React.
  • Familiarity with software development tools and frameworks, Utilization of Docker
  • Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
  • Passion for software development and a keen interest in autonomous simulation tools.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Authorized to work in Germany.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Cloud computing and Devops technologies.
  • Statistical Optimization 
  • Linux OS and general understanding of IT hardware and systems
  • Software development lifecycle.
