The Facilities Manager is a key contributor role within Global Real Estate and Facilities Management that is directly responsible for ensuring consistent and optimized processes and services are delivered to internal customers throughout North America. This position ensures high levels of customer satisfaction for multiple customers while driving the success of important strategic and tactical goals and objectives. The contributor is responsible for providing services and support.



  • Coordination of day to day facilities operations including but not limited to: preventative maintenance, repairs, security, and health & safety 
  • Assist with physical relocations, new office build-outs, existing office renovations, expansions and closures
  • Tracking and proactively developing strategies around space occupancy, capacity and growth planning
  • Assistance with competitive bidding, vendor contract negotiation and orders & payment processing
  • Builds and maintains key internal customer relationships to support collaborative planning
  • Builds and maintains key external partner relationships with landlords and vendors
  • Assist with regional budget and total cost of ownership for each facility and related services ensuring close coordination with other members of the NA regional team as well as the central accounting team
  • Drive operational efficiency and standardization throughout the region
  • Support the Manager of Regional Facilities in various real estate activities within the region to include, but not limited to, the following: site selection, acquisitions, lease negotiation, renewals and dispositions
  • Other duties as assigned



  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a facilities and/or real estate role
  • Stakeholder engagement to execute on business strategy and project business unit requirements for the workplace, infrastructure, real property, and facilities, including impact on the portfolio plan
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Possesses strong communications, customer service, presentation and change management skills
  • Financial and business acumen in multiple cultural environments
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing



  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; alternatively, individuals could have gained the same level of knowledge and skill through on the job experience and training
  • Six or more years of experience as a building manager, property manager, or maintenance supervisor
  • Professional registration, or industry certification a plus
  • Experience managing data center infrastructure and planning is a plus
  • Should be able to work on the phone and computer for an extended period of time
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
  • Up to 20% travel will be required in the US and Canada (as needed)
