Summary / Role Purpose


The Technical Support Engineer provides our customers with technical support via helpdesk software applications, emails, and calls.

Your duties include assisting customers in the installation, configuration and use of SCADE ( ).

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide customers with worldwide support via desktop solutions, emails, and calls.
    • Assist customers with account setup and tools usage
    • Provide customers with step-by-step guidance to resolve technical problems
    • Prioritize customer queries (functionality feedback) and escalate serious technical issues to Product Management or development team
    • Collaborate with our Product and Development Teams to build and to assess new features and fix bugs
  • Monitor questions and contribute to our public support forums
  • Develop tools collaterals to accelerate the customers ramp up in our technology:
    • Demos and examples
    • Component libraries using SCADE products
    • Customization scripts (Python)
  • Develop the trust and respect of customers and team members


Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or similar.
  • 2-5 years of experience as a support engineer.
  • Technical knowledge and experience in software development tools and languages (C, Python)
  • Technical knowledge and experience in Model Based Development tools 


Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in software tools support
  • Knowledge of aerospace or automotive domains is a plus
  • Good communication (English mandatory) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and to collaborate with others in a geographically distributed team
