Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Apply Ansys software configuration, integration and troubleshooting techniques to provide highest level technical support to customers and Channel Partners
  • Adhere to support processes to ensure high-quality, timely customer service that results in customer satisfaction
  • Develop technical expertise in configuring software in one or more simulation areas
  • Submit suggestions for product improvement, when needed. File defect reports and verify fixes adhering to defect reporting processes. May also participate in field testing of new releases to ensure that new features and workflows will address customer requirements
  • On an as-needed basis, support Sales and Marketing by conducting demonstrations, webinars, online training, and other meetings
  • Participate in other strategic team and company initiatives, as needed

 

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience

  • Required education and degree type: BS or MS in Electrical/Electronic engineering specialized in Electromagnetics with 1 year or more in High Frequency (HF) domain and simulation tools
  • Experience with Antenna simulation Tools. Familiarity with software such as Ansys HFSS,SBR++, CST MW Studio, and ADS is preferred. The ability to simulate complex antenna designs and analyze their performance through these tools is a key aspect of the role.
  • Familiarity with high frequency, microwave and antenna concepts including S-parameters, wave propagation, antenna radiation patterns and scattering analysis
  • Experience in using programming language (Python, C#, Javascript etc.) for automating simulation workflows.
  • Logical problem-solving, strong interpersonal and communication skills in Japanese/English
  • Demonstrated skills in writing and presenting in English
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, possesses a sense of urgency
  • Projects a professional image and demonstrates business acumen, driven to succeed
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of time

 

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Basic knowledge of electromagnetic and circuit theory
  • Experience in technical documentation content creation
  • Ability to research and debug software-related issues
  • Deep understanding of different industry trends, technologies, engineering environment, product design complexity, development challenges etc.
  • CRM tools and processes
