【SUMMARY】
Interact with customers to help diagnose issues, as well as research and find solutions to a wide variety of large scope, complex problems, in order to improve customers' productivity and satisfaction with Ansys products.
Personally own the customer support experience, practice active listening skills and respond positively to situations requiring cooperation, courtesy and tact.
Collaborate with product development to improve Ansys products and the customers'experience using these products.
Participation in internal corporate initiatives to further enhance the solution suites, sales enablement and professional growth. 
Actively participate in the development and mentoring of team members.
Instruct intermediate and/or advanced training classes on the usage of Ansys simulation products.
Track and document inbound support requests and ensure proper notation of customer problems or issues.

 

【RESPONSIBILITIES】
Understanding customer needs in area of Chip, Package and PCB designs involving Signal and Power Integrity, and provide right methodologies with Ansys solutions to ensure customer success.
Demonstrating the value of the Ansys vision and software to existing/prospective customers through collaboration with direct and indirect Sales in order to grow sales volume.
Providing high quality technical support to existing customers to ensure retention and customer delight.
Creating and presenting software demonstrations in order to assist with the software sales process., developing novel simulation solutions to streamline existing workflows, perform technical product presentations; ensuring software deployment and adoption; driving competitive benchmarks.
Providing high quality technical support to existing customers to ensure retention and customer delight.
Performing consulting activities in complex electrical engineering problems using Ansys Inc. software products or other commercial CAE software.
Training customers on the usage of Ansys simulation products to increase their proficiency, independence, and success in simulating engineering problems with Ansys software.
Collaborating with product development teams by providing customer requirements as well as performing testing of new product releases to ensure improved customer experience.

 

【MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS】
Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical discipline
A minimum of 5-10 years of industrial experience

Expert-level knowledge of SI(Signal Integrity) and EMC .
Use of Ansys HFSS, Ansys SIwave, Ansys Q3D Extractor, Ansys Twinbuilder and related software packages
Knowledge of Automation/programming for on/off chip SI/PI applications would be helpful.
CST, Sigrity, ADS use experience would be welcome.
Practical work experiences in design, physical test, product development is an advantage.

Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to implement numerical models to obtain practical engineering solutions to difficult problems
Ability to work independently, as well as with other individuals/teams within and outside of Japan in a diverse team environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and to communicate effectively with customers
Demonstrated skills in writing and presenting in fluent English
Experience in customer facing role would be a plus
Problem solving skills and ability to create engineering solutions to customer problems


【PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS】
Knowledge of other commercial ECAE/ECAD software would be a plus
Work is performed in a general office environment
Should be able to work on the phone and computer for an extended period of time
Up to 20% travelling would be required
