Summary / Role Purpose

The Sales Training Coordinator is responsible to conduct pre-course and post-course administration of the Sales Enablement courses in the APAC region. This position will be driving the delivery, coordination, schedules, and administration of all virtual and in person training and development programs in region, in support of Ansys’ Commercial Strategy. The successful Sales training coordinator will have strong communication skills, business acumen, work ethics, time management skills, and a data mindset.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Assign onboarding training assignments to new sales team members and monitor completion.
  • Schedule training, coordinate logistics and registrations for classroom and virtual training events.
  • Develop and track appropriate sales enablement KPIs (tool usage, training completion, etc) to ensure sales teams are engaged and progressing towards achieving goals.
  • Survey class participants for feedback on course topics, materials, and delivery as it pertains to driving positive impact for all participants.
  • Provide individual assessments of direct and channel staff and development plans to RSDs/RSMs as based on sales training performance.
  • Develop consistent communication/training frameworks and formats so sales teams can quickly comprehend content and apply to their sales opportunities.
  • Execute a high-level sales support model to ensure that sales representatives receive what they need, when they need it.

 

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience

 

  • Education & Years of Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field with 3+ years of experience in training and/or event management OR 7+ years of experience in training and/or event management.
  • PC proficiency and utilization of Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task and operate under pressure.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.
  • Must be a fast learner and continue to improve.

 

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

 

  • Proven program, project, and performance management skills.
  • Experience managing curricula and training events in through virtual, classroom or Learning Management Systems.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized individual with ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.
