<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">The Product Sales Manager is responsible for directing and supporting collaborative Cloud sales efforts to grow one or more assigned product lines.  The Product Sales Manager’s goal is to ensure the profitability and continued growth of a specific set of products for the organization.  As an expert in Cloud product line, the Product Sales Manager is responsible for achieving a direct sales quota in that product line, as well as supporting overall product-line success, all within an overlay structure.

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Performs product sales activities for new/renewal business for an assigned geographic area or set of accounts to achieve or exceed assigned product and service revenue objectives

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Partners with Strategic Account Managers, Major (Key)Account  Managers and Account Managers to collaboratively develop and pro-actively execute strategies that drive product and service revenue as part of an overall account strategy
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Effectively lead all stages of the sales process from developing territory/account plans and building pipeline to closing
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Facilitates communication with the sales and technical team with respect to updates on product capabilities, success stories and winning strategies
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business for the organization’s products and services
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Creates and conducts advanced product sales presentations to match company's products/services with identified customer needs. Identifies ANSYS advantages and positions ANSYS‘s products/services as superior to competitive offerings
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Works with team members to develop clear and effective written proposals, quotations and value propositions for current and prospective customers
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Creates and maintains account plans for existing and new customers in collaboration with Account Managers
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting and technical services groups
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Participates in industry shows and conventions; leads training and seminars to enhance new business opportunities
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Develops relationships with customers with the intent of securing, extending and elevating the ANSYS presence within the account
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Provides client feedback to product development and marketing staff

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">JOB MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Minimum bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline OR an Associate’s degree and 2 years of sales experience
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Minimum 3 years of sales or consulting experience in selling engineering/technology applications with a proven track record of success
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Demonstrated proficiency of engineering analysis and technology
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to work independently
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Minimum travel of 50%
