The Account Manager – Channel Partner maintains, and expands relationships with assigned channel partners, and responsible for achieving sales profitability, and partner recruitment objectives.



  • Create an agreed business plan with the partner which is reviewed on quarterly basis in a QBR
  • Initiate pipeline building activities and ensure the pipeline is transparent and accurate for all ANSYS products
  • Define expansion and growth plans with existing partners and motivate partners to go into new markets
  • Involved in strategic deals and supports the partner in all possible ways to finalize the transaction
  • Ensures the partner is well versed on all products which are part of the partner contract (enablement, trainings, webinars, coaching)
  • Monitors and discusses partners’ sales activities on a weekly basis
  • Discuss the strategic direction of the partner and become a trustful advisor to the senior management of the partner
  • Implement the ANSYS Partner Program effectively including compliance, contract terms, and discounting rules
  • Other duties as required



  • Bachelor’s degree in technical or business field 
  • Proven track record of success in channel environment
  • Japanese language skill (Native or Fluent)
  • Manufacturing background such as sales experience of PLM/CAD or experience of design/development products in the industry
  • Proficient in computer skills: MS Office, CRM, Salesforce
  • Some travel expected



  • Interest and curiosity in high-tech products and technical innovation
  • Experience in managing partners in a structured partner program
  • Organizational and leadership ability
  • Basic verbal and written English communication skills
