The SBU Senior Account Manager is responsible for customer engagement and product-lines success.

This position directs and supports collaborative sales efforts to grow one or more assigned product lines.
Its goal is to ensure the profitability and continued growth of a specific set of products for the organization.

As an expert in specific product lines, the SBU Senior Account Manager is responsible for achieving a direct sales quota in that product line and supporting overall product-line success.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop growth strategy in designated accounts/verticals with full accountability
  • Understand Aerospace/Defense, Energy/Utility/Railway, Heavy Industry, and drive business with a strategic relationship with key stakeholders
  • Have in-depth knowledge of Safety, Reliability, System Engineering, Model-Based Design/Development, and V&V cycle.
  • Preferred having sales experience in the A&D market customers (ADD, KAI, LIGnex1, Hanwha System, KARI, etc.)
  • Increase customer base with four pillars – new customer acquisition, new product expansion, new partner joining, and new displacement over competitors
  • Keep monitoring industry tech trends, locally and globally
  • Identify and map business value/strengths and customer needs
  • Negotiate with stakeholders


MINIMUM Education/Experience/Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, marketing, or other related fields
  • 12+ years of experience in selling engineering/technology software/applications with a proven track record of sales success
  • Ability to plan/execute/review with sales initiative and understand the objective of QBR clearly
  • Understand sales forecasting process in a multi-nation company
  • Experience in sales number forecasting with Salesforce.com
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Proficient English communication skills required in verbal and written
