JOB SUMMARY

 

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Electrical/Electronic engineer who aspires to apply their skills to the exciting and critical growth area of automotive functional safety.  Successful candidate is an expert in ISO 26262 and functional safety domain who will help drive Ansys medini analyze software business in automotive and other safety related domains.  This is a customer facing role in a pre-sales environment with exciting opportunity to interact with global OEMs, tier suppliers and engineering service providers. The person will be primarily responsible to promote Ansys medini analyze software to our customers by offering extensive presales and post-sales support to help them successfully deploy the software in their organization.  The primary responsibility will be to support customers in Korea and other APAC regions, may be extended to other global customers. This position may require up to 30% travel.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 

  • Delivering product presentation, demonstration and engaging with technical discussion with customers to convince them on the advantages with Ansys medini analyze
  • Consult and advise clients on the system implementation while following applicable technical standards as well as standards on quality, safety etc. utilizing Ansys medini analyze.
  • Offering recommendations and best practices on implementation of ISO 26262
  • Be able to address customer queries on various tool usage or implementations with deep technical expertise on the subject
  • Deliver technical proof and related work products as demanded by the customer
  • Deliver hands on workshops, webinars and trainings on tool usage
  • Acquire knowledge and address related areas such as SOTIF and Cyber Security
     

JOB MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Engineering degree in Electronics & Communications / Automotive Electronics / Computer Science /Embedded Systems or related discipline
  • Deep knowledge of ISO 26262 standard and preferably experience in implementing FuSa process in an automotive environment (OEM / Tier Supplier or Engineering Service Provider)
  • 3 to 8 years of experience in related field
  • Familiarity with complete Functional Safety lifecycle including FSC, TSC, tool qualification, audits and assessments
  • Familiarity with Reliability analysis including failure prediction, FMEDA and DC analysis
  • 1~3 years of experience on Java Scripts or other scripting languages
  • Comfortable in client facing communication
  • Fluent English on oral and written

 

 

Good to have:

  • Knowledge of one or more automotive system domains (e.g. steering, powertrain, body/chassis, brake system, ADAS)
  • Experience in model-based design techniques including the software safety analysis
  • Awareness / familiarity of safety standards in Aerospace, Rail and Industrial domains
  • Familiarity in Cyber security analysis including relevant standards for automotive
  • Familiarity in SOTIF analysis including relevant standards for automotive
