Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing new strategic partnerships with market influencers, finding new ways of expanding client reaches to new potential areas and deepening client engagement to better meet the needs of fast-changing market environments. His or her mission is not limited to specific large clients or segments.  More than that, he or she will take care of developing more strategic market & industry ecosystems to lead 'Ansys leadership & success' across clients, segments and BUs.


Business Development Executive will be involved in the active coordination of cross-functional teams including Sales, ACE, Marketing and partners to deliver the excellent customer experience of Ansys.  He will be responsible for building strong and strategic relationships with government organizations, top academics and market influencers to drive the tactics of “make & replications” and to develop “big deal”. His or her mission will be well aligned with market megatrends and clients’ DT agenda with well-balanced mid/long terms strategies. 



Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Developing growth strategies and plans across in both Enterprise/Strategic and SMB segments.
  • Managing and retaining strategic relationships with existing/potential clients, market influencers for more strategic and extended market ecosystems.
  • Increasing client base with 4 perspectives - new client acquisition, new product expansion, new partners and new displacement. 
  • Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition 
  • Negotiating with stakeholders 
  • Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs 
  • Researching business opportunities and viable income streams 
  • Following industry trends locally and internationally 


Minimum Requirements


  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or other related field, or have knowledge and experience background to function in this position. 
  • 10+ years of professional experience in sales or business development 
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills required
  • Ability to plan, navigate and negotiate a sophisticated sales process  
  • Strong communication skills are essential 
  • Must be willing to travel 
  • Experience of driving and leading cross-team & collaboration structure


Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Deliver effective messaging on social media, identify ideal buyers, and leverage tools
  • Conflict resolution
