Summary and Role Purpose

 

The role of Marketing Specialist will be to execute Account Based Marketing plan for enterprise and strategic account as well as across industries. The candidate will be working closely with the Marketing Manager, sales, and technical team to prioritize accounts, identify opportunities and map Ansys product/solutions portfolio to the opportunities to help deliver on sales target. This role will demonstrate strong understanding of key territory and industry trends, strategic market opportunities and sales priorities.
 
Key Duties and Responsibilities  

 

  • Work with the Marketing Manager to build a scalable strategy and plan for Account Based Marketing for enterprise and strategic accounts
     
  • Explore different strategies and execution plans for maximizing the impact of ABM
     
  • Identify, track, and analyze the ABM outcome. Work with Marketing Manager on maximizing the outcome and reducing the cost of marketing

 

  • Conduct account reviews and circulate detailed analysis and progress made for the accounts

 

  • Develop marketing campaigns, focused on the well targted industry, accounts to grow sales pipeline for the sales organization
     
  • Coordinate with digital marketing team, develop the plan and work on executing the digital plan for the account
     
  • Partnership with Industry associations to build enhanced programs/benefits
     

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English or Writing.
  • Between 7-10 years of experience in B2B marketing of software, Hi-tech products or B2B offerings.
  • Digital Marketing skills are required (Web, Paid Social, Paid Search, Social Selling and Social Media).
  • Should have demonstrated on executing plans for growth of sales accepted opportunities.
  • Understanding of B2B buying process, challenges, and success factors.
  • Analytical orientation, attention to details, ability to work in a cross-functional team, strong customer focus, business acumen is essential. Ability to understand ANSYS’ technical offering and to develop strategies to realize opportunities through the offering.
  • Ability to quickly analyze data, spot trends, and derive meaningful insights that would help deliver improved outcome.
  • Ability to manage data and create/manage dashboards in salesforce.com
  •  Good proficiency in English required.

 

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience with building marketing programs to drive new business within existing customer accounts
  • Experience in Account Based Marketing & Industry Marketing is a plus
  • Versed in tools such as Salesforce, Monday.com as well as other office productivity and collaboration tools 
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Prior experience working in a technical business setting with engineers or in engineering simulation is a plus
