Summary / Role Purpose

Join the Ansys Customer Excellence (ACE) team to drive customer adoption of Ansys solutions to achieve business success.  You will be part of a passionate, dynamic team that capture, architect and deploy Ansys technical contents from all technical teams to incubate, develop and transform Ansys userbase and continue grow their digital engineering competencies.  This is an exciting opportunity to advance your technical knowledge & soft skills further while broadening the appeal of numerical simulation and Ansys products to a global market.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Technical Content Developers to create engaging learning activities and compelling technical course content
  • Update existing technical content to new software release
  • Create supporting multi-media content (audio, video, captions, etc) using content authoring tools
  • Independently format, edit, review and publish technical content in Ansys Learning Hub (ALH) and other platforms
  • Continuously strive to streamline the technical content development processes and develop best practices
  • Advise Technical Content Developers on story boarding, presentation of content, and improvements of the learning experience in accordance with instructional design concepts
  • Continuously look for opportunities to improve the user experience and act as needed
  • Support Technical Translators with the translation and publication of translated content
  • Manage and coordinate priorities with content authors
  • Promote ALH within the user base and the ACE team. Coordinate and perform on-boarding sessions with customers
  • Performs other duties as assigned to improve the overall quality of ANSYS training portfolio


Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience

  • Required education and degree type: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or liberal arts with a STEM related major
  • Required minimum years of professional experience in a corporate setting with a focus on technical content development: BS+5
  • Advanced knowledge of presentation and spreadsheet software, such as Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Working knowledge of content authoring tools
  • Working knowledge in instructional design concepts
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Projects a professional image and demonstrates business acumen, driven to succeed.
  • Logical problem-solving, strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in writing and speaking English
  • Professional experience with content authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline/Rise within the CAE domain
  • Professional experience as an instructional designer or technical writer


Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Education and years of professional experience in a corporate setting with a focus on technical content development: MS+3
  • Demonstrated capabilities to independently organize and deploy a technical content portfolio
  • 2+ years of work experience of content editing roles, serve as editors of technical magazines, transactions or in digital media
