SUMMARY

The primary role of the Sales Development Representative (SDR) is to drive the creation and execution of our account-based marketing activities with a primary focus on enterprise and strategic accounts, together with the SDR leadership team, sales, pre-sales and the field marketing team. The objective is to deepen the relationship from Ansys with existing customers to increase our account footprint, cross-sell and upsell into existing accounts. This will be achieved through, the mapping of the contacts and prospects, and the implementation of scalable marketing activities including ABM campaigns and executive outreach activity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic profiling of accounts to identify accounts that would benefit from ABM and  identify via our CRM and/or a 3rd party data sources/prospecting tools a pre-qualified list of targets (i.e. the right persona/best fit) we would like to engage at those accounts.
  • Collaborate with SDR Leadership, Sales, Pre-Sales, Product Marketing and Field Marketing on strategic account engagement to develop multi-channel, multi-threaded, personalized account/customer specific/ABM marketing campaigns.
  • Execute the required ABM engagement plan developed with SDR Leadership, Sales, Pre-Sales, Product Marketing and Field Marketing with a view of scalability.
  • Encourage sharing of best practices on ABM across the organization.
  • Collaborate with SDR Leadership, Sales, Field Marketing, Product Marketing and Pre-Sales teams to encourage and promote ABM programs for their accounts during the account planning process and define clear outcomes and performance measures for these programs.
  • Leverage/use the CRM and other technology to identify targets, prioritize outreach, track activity, engagement and performance for each ABM program executed.
  • The role is largely office based.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required preferably in business, marketing or engineering.
  • 3 years+ work experience in Marketing/Field Marketing, sales/lead development, IT& Software environment preferred. 
  • Understanding of IT sales environment and account planning with the ability to think strategically and work as part of a team to develop account strategy
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal are required; good knowledge of digital marketing tools and social selling tools.
  • Active promoter of his/her ideas ability to influence others and challenge for change. 
  • Highly reliable: attention to detail and accuracy is a must. 
  • Ability to work independently and flexibly, with excellent team working skills. 
  • Good organizational skills. able to work well under pressure, prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage data and create / manage dashboards.
  • Good proficiency in English required other EMEA language would be a plus

  • Based in EMEA office where relevant
  • Proactive, self-starter with drive to build first class operations function
  • Good business acumen, solid understanding on how sales team operates.
  • Inherently driven to deliver results with a sense of urgency to achieve
  • Strong interpersonal skills to represent the Ansys brand, quickly forge strong
  • Relationships with partners & stakeholders- internal & external
  • Strong team player with ability to develop effective working relationships across organization: regional and global marketing teams, channel partners
