SUMMARY


The Payroll Analyst is responsible for preparing the payroll for some countries in EMEA while ensuring they are processed accurately and timely according to the established schedule.  Verifies payroll is processed in compliance with all local payroll and regulatory requirements.  This role works closely with other members of the Payroll/HR Team, as well as other ANSYS departments to ensure all payroll inputs are recorded correctly and on time; serves as an employee point of contact for payroll / HR policies and procedures.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Process payrolls within procedures, guidelines, and legal requirements; record pay data accurately and on a timely basis; maintain source documents and payroll files accordingly.
  • Assist with payroll tax review/reconciliation, notice resolution, system code setup, and required quarterly/annual filings.
  • Maintain payroll reconciliations and standard and ad hoc reporting for other departments, including tax, accounting, and stock administration.
  • Serve as an employee point of contact for payroll and HR questions, communications, and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain source documents / payroll files and ensure proper labeling in Perspective Content.
  • Create and maintain internal processes and procedures, including compliance and controls.
  • Ensure required taxes, social contributions, benefit programs and other deductions are handled in accordance with local laws and regulations for each country
  • Administer and/or work with HR/Payroll Systems (for example - ADP Celergo/GlobalView).
  • Integral team member for implementation of new ADP payroll system.
  • Provide hands-on support for local payroll activities as needed.
  • Additional duties and project work as assigned.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
 

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Business, Finance, or Human Resources major preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a payroll environment (preferably ADP Celergo)
  • Strong knowledge of and ability to interpret regulatory agency reporting and withholding requirements
  • Knowledge of HR operations and administration
  • Typing, organizing, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office product suite, with particular strength in Excel
  • A good level in English is mandatory

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
 

  • Experience working with a Payroll vendor in a Managed Service environment
  • Multiple country exposure and experience in the EMEA Region highly preferred
  • Job opening in France
