JOB SUMMARY 

 

Join the Ansys Student Internship Program to apply your education to solve real world engineering problems, advance career skills and experience work at Ansys. The student intern will be part of the Ansys Customer Excellence team. He/she will use the Ansys medini Analyze (model-based), integrated tool supporting safety analysis for safety-critical electrical and electronic (E/E) and software (SW) controlled systems. It allows for consistent and efficient application of industry guidelines, specifically tailored to industry standards, such as ISO 26262, IEC 61508, ARP 4761, ISO 21448 or MIL-STD-882E. The intern will get an opportunity to interact with Ansys global leaders. The internship will run for 6 months.  

 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

 

  • Acquire and deploy the skills required of functional safety experts in automotive safety critical system using the leading functional safety support tool medini analyze of ANSYS 

  • Develop requirements specification on vehicle, system, and component Level 

  • Definie, develop and advise on new architectures and detailed for current and emerging automotive systems 

  • Presentation and positioning medini in different sector  

  • Create Safety case by using medini 

  • Update Ansys training course material 

  • Create technical marketing content 

  • Write detailed technical reports and present results to Ansys teams 

  • Network within the Ansys Customer Excellence team to learn various job functions such as presales support, post sales technical support, consulting services, etc. 

 

JOB MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS 

 

  • Currently enrolled in an Engineering Master’s Degree Functional Safety/Cybersecurity and in their final year of study  

  • Ready to work at the advertised location without requiring relocation assistance by Ansys 

  • Motivated to learn. Strong problem solving, communication and time management skills 

  • Demonstrated skills in writing, understanding, and presenting in fluent English 

  • knowledge in Java  

 

OTHER INFORMATION 

 

  • Knowledge of computer languages – C/C++, Java 

  • Knowledge of ISO 26262, IEC 61508, ARP 4761, ISO 21448, MIL-STD-882E
