SUMMARY / ROLE PURPOSE
Within the Validation team, you will join a dynamic team composed of 20 members spread worldwide. You will work in close collaboration with the R&D teams.
This role assesses how well the product meets customer needs both in terms of functionality and usability and ensures that product requirements and quality standards are satisfied. The role works closely with other members of the product creation team and communicates with technical specialists on product issues.
You will evolve in a multicultural environment at the forefront of innovation and validate optical simulation products.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Specify and write test cases, creates, modify and update existing tests, write and maintain test scripts

Perform functional, application, regression and performance testing in manual and/or automated test environments and investigate possible causes of problems

Create test plans and defects, participate in defect management and testing metrics

Apply standard techniques and procedures and comply with the company's overall development and testing processes

Feature and fixed defect validation in compliance with established processes and guidelines

Analysis of results and their communication

Work in a variety of computing environments
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- A degree in Optics
-
BS in Engineering, Computer Science with 2 years of experience
- Knowledge of software Simulation
- Notions on software validation & SDLC
- Python scripting
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- You master photometry
- Experience in a large-scale commercial software testing and verification environment
- Experience with the usage of Optical engineering software (Speos, Zemax, etc.)
- ISTQB certifications is a plus
- You are autonomous, open-minded, curious, methodical, and with a very good team spirit.
