The Channel Marketing Specialist – Southern Europe works closely with the WW Director of Channel Marketing to ensure the effectiveness of Ansys’ marketing programs in driving revenue through its channel partners.  You will partner closely with assigned Ansys channel sales teams and will be responsible for providing strategic input, tactical planning, and direction to Ansys channel partners in the region. You will lead efforts to measure program effectiveness and identify requirements for enhancing programs. The Channel Marketing Specialist is expected to be a thought leader and own the channel marketing space.


- In conjunction with the channel partner and Ansys channel sales team, develop and execute channel marketing initiatives, programs and communications to drive pipeline and revenue growth goals for partners
- Develop, own, and nurture relationships with the marketing executives of our channel partners; become a trusted advisor to executives in our partner channel to drive best practices and elevate the priority of marketing
- Co-develop and support the annual/quarterly marketing plans with key partners, including full budget accountability
- Collaborate with the channel partners and Ansys channel sales managers to gather input and better understand regional business opportunities
- Define marketing programs and strategic objectives for the channel (awareness, consideration and preference) and determine meaningful metrics; measure, analyze and report on the usage and impact of channel marketing initiatives
- Ensure alignment of strategic objectives as they relate to the channel, including marketing plan development, leveraging mixed activities that best support the strategy and budgetary requirements


- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience working within a channel marketing role inside an agency or as part of a company’s marketing team.  Experience working with channel partners is a must.

- Ability to assist both internal and client facing teams with their plans for the development and implementation of channel marketing strategies
- Strong analytical and communication skills

- A self-starter who brings existing knowledge of channel dynamics to the team

- Must demonstrate understanding of different channel dynamics

- Excellent interpersonal communication; written, presentation, and verbal
- Proven track record of success, working independently to meet project objectives and managing multiple tasks simultaneously to meet strict deadlines with minimal direction

- A PLUS: Someone that has channel marketing experience in the software space

- Ability to travel up to 25%


- MBA preferred
- Channel marketing experience in the high technology B2B market preferred
- Demonstrated competencies with design, deployment, and utilization of web-enabled (in-bound) marketing software

The region of coverage will be Italy, France, Spain and Portugal.
