The ServiceNow Application Architect plays a lead technical role in the delivery of ServiceNow projects and drives strategic, transformational change through optimized use of the ServiceNow platform. Responsible for the overall architecture, design, implementation, and integrity of the ServiceNow application within the enterprise. Also responsible for ensuring that the solutions delivered to business units are engineered in accordance with corporate architecture and infrastructure standards.  The ServiceNow Application Architect will work with the ServiceNow development team to create and enforce best practices for technical delivery of the ServiceNow platform.  This role is expected to demonstrate leadership characteristics and readily share knowledge and guidance with team members.



  • Provide strategic guidance and vision for the best usage of the ServiceNow platform to drive additional value at Ansys including input on decisions to build or buy new capabilities.
  • Design, implement, and maintain business process solutions delivered through the ServiceNow platform through close collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.
  • Document design decisions, as well as process and data flows for solutions delivered.
  • Ensure the entire ServiceNow platform is engineered according to corporate architecture and infrastructure standards.
  • Create, train, and enforce ServiceNow development processes and standards across entire ServiceNow team.
  • Review ServiceNow solutions deployed by other developers on the ServiceNow team.
  • Provide technical expertise for escalated issues experienced with the ServiceNow platform.



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field. 
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience with ServiceNow platform.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with systems architecture, integration and data and content migration.
  • Ability to demonstrate technical problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer service and communications skills.



  • Ability to present technical information in a business-oriented way.
  • Ability to handle multiple complex projects in parallel.
  • Demonstrated examples of using automation to increase efficiency.
  • Experience working with a global team.
