Summary / Role Purpose


ANSYS is seeking a highly motivated individual with a deep technical experience and interest on model based embedded software design solutions for complex applications in aerospace, automotive, railways, energy domains.


The consultant is a member of a worldwide expert team, within the ANSYS SCADE product development team. This position is in charge to provide technical expertise on embedded software solutions for successful adoption and deployment of ANSYS SCADE products.


Ansys SCADE is a model-based development environment for reliable embedded software, which provides linkage to requirements management, model-based design, verification, qualifiable/certified code generation

 capabilities and interoperability with other development tools and platforms.


The job can involve travelling to Ansys office and customers to deliver presentations and technical workshops.


Key Duties and Responsibilities


  • Provides technical expertise on SCADE solutions to pre-sales teams and customers in pre-sales and deployment phases
  • Development of customized solutions around SCADE tools
  • Works closely with the product development team to enhance SCADE products
  • Manages and disseminate knowledge and expertise within the company (in particular to the development and product management teams)
  • Is an integral player in building strong, cohesive ANSYS and customer teams capable of successfully completing complex embedded software projects


Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience


  • Master's degree in software engineering
  • Demonstrated experience with Ansys SCADE solutions
  • Technical knowledge and experience in software development tools and languages: C, Python
  • Self-driven and highly motivated team player


Preferred Qualifications and Skills


  • Experience leading technical efforts to deliver innovative solutions
  • Strong familiarity with model-based design technology, including hardware, software, functional safety and simulation solutions
  • Knowledge of a market domain is a plus: aerospace, automotive, railways, energy, …
  • Good communication (English mandatory) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to drive success across teams and geographies, and to mentor others
  • Ability to convey complex information in a clear way to stakeholders and development teams
