Summary / Role Purpose 
Join the Ansys Student Internship Program to apply your education to solve real world engineering problems, advance career skills and experience work at Ansys. The student intern will be part of the Ansys Customer Excellence team. They will use the Ansys medini Analyze model-based integrated tool to support safety analysis for safety-critical electrical and electronic and software controlled systems. Ansys medini Analyze is leading functional safety management tool allows for consistent and efficient application of industry guidelines for Automotive, Aerospace or other safety critical industries and it is specifically tailored to the relevant industry standards industry standards, such as ISO 26262 Road vehicles - Functional safety for the Automotive industry in support of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. The intern will get an opportunity to interact with Ansys global leaders. The internship will run for six months.


Key Duties and Responsibilities
•    Acquire and deploy the skills required of functional safety experts in automotive safety critical system using the leading functional safety support tool medini analyze of ANSYS
•    Develop specification requirements for vehicle, system, and component level solutions 
•    Define, develop and advise on new architectures and/or detailed designs for current and emerging automotive systems
•    Presentation and positioning of Ansys medini in different industry sectors 
•    Create Safety cases by using Ansys medini
•    Update Ansys training course material
•    Create technical marketing content
•    Perform literature search to locate relevant publications using Ansys or competitive products, as well as experimental data
•    Write detailed technical reports and present results to Ansys teams
•    Network within the Ansys Customer Excellence team to learn various job functions such as presales support, post sales technical support, consulting services, etc.


Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience
•    Currently enrolled in an Engineering Master's Degree, Functional Safety or Cybersecurity and in their final year of study
•    Ready to work at the advertised location without requiring relocation assistance by Ansys
•    Motivated to learn. Strong problem solving, communication and time management skills
•    Demonstrated skills in writing, understanding, and presenting in fluent English
•    Knowledge in Java 


Preferred Qualifications and Skills
•    Knowledge of computer languages - C/C++, Python,
•    Knowledge of ISO 26262, IEC 61508, ARP 4761, ISO 21448, MIL-STD-882E.
