The Strategic Engagements Specialist will define, implement, and continuously improve account strategy and processes.  This individual will be responsible for creating and driving engagements and programs with all market segments, critical to our expansion of the region. Responsibilities include driving efficiencies around sales, strategic planning, enabling programs and sharing best practices.  


This position can sit remotely from anywhere in the US.



  • Create and drive engagements with all market segments across the region’s accounts and cross functionally with other Ansys Departments
  • Support of strategic planning on a broad basis with all sales teams
  • Creates productive collaboration between global Ansys teams supporting the account(s)
  • Identify, create, and execute on key strategic Initiatives and enable the team to execute
  • Create executive communications and presentations and support internal WWS communications
  • Drive continuous improvement and upskilling of presentation skills
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in the handling of sensitive and confidential information and documents
  • Support cross-sell upsell opportunities in coordination with marketing and sales teams
  • Plan and organize business meetings and department events, including logistical support
  • Assist with preparation of correspondence, manuals, and presentations for the business leaders



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or other related field with 3+ years of relevant work experience in Sales, Marketing or related field OR 7+ years of relevant experience
  • 1+ years of experience working strategically with executive teams
  • Excellent communication skills, the ability to collaborate and bring people together, and drive to results are essential
  • Ability to travel up to 25%



  • 1 year of experience in Sales or Marketing
  • Ability to earn trust through performance and relationship building
  • Ability to influence employees at all levels of the organization
