SUMMARY 

The Solution Architect will join the commercial applications team that creates state-of-art CRM applications in the Salesforce eco-system. These applications are used by ANSYS to manage over $1.2B in revenue and by our customers worldwide to interact with ANSYS, use our software, and obtain support. 

 

The Solution Architect owns the architecture part of a customer-oriented solution. This requires developing a good knowledge of business goals, then to apply technical expertise to recommend options that integrate business and technical considerations.  

 

That includes working closely with product owners to drive design choices and recommend innovative solutions as well as providing technical expertise to the development teams. 

 

The focus of that role will the standing of Service and Community Cloud for Ansys customers as part of our multiyear Digital Transformation roadmap 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Help to define processes and solutions for Salesforce deployments and continuous improvement using an Agile Scrum approach 

  • Collaborate with product owners as a Salesforce expert, present options, and help to build full solutions to meet business needs 

  • Drive technical architecture and design choices ahead of the product build in sprints. This includes functional analysis with product owners and technical analysis. 

  • Provide overall guidance to propose solutions, anticipate new releases, drive the build vs buy decisions, and influence product planning 

  • Guarantee consistency with the Enterprise Architecture guidelines Document design decisions, process and data flows for the development team 

  • Participate in sprint planning sessions to anticipate design work or issues, and in Agile daily standup to help resolve blockers and make technical decisions. 

  • Write and maintain non-functional user stories for technical architecture, data migrations, and data flows 

  • Provide expertise to the application development team to help to resolve technical challenges  

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering

  • 7 years’ experience in key Salesforce.com capabilities, including Service Cloud and Community Cloud 

  • 5 years of experience with systems architecture, integration, and data and content migration. 

  • 3 years of experience with data modeling concepts and tools. 

  • Ability to present technical information in a business-oriented way 

  • 2 years’ experience with Identity Management, Middleware, or API management systems. 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Salesforce Application certifications with Service Cloud, Community Cloud, or Sales Cloud 

  • Salesforce Developer or System certifications 

  • Knowledge of Enterprise Architectures frameworks such as TOGAF. 

  • Experience in data migrations and integrations with other ERP or CRM systems
