The Digital Marketing team at Ansys leverages world-class marketing technologies, data-driven insights and exemplary teamwork - to not only help execute marketing campaigns but transform the role of Marketing into a strategic innovation and revenue generating hub. The Digital Marketing team is looking for a Social Media Specialist to help implement, experiment, and assist in management of social media for all of Marketing.


As a Social Media Specialist, you will leverage your background in digital advertising or paid social to create and execute digital media campaigns to nurture leads and drive sales. You will also work to drive internal adoption of our social employee advocacy program, while curating content and developing strategies to promote our brand externally.


  • Work across the marketing organization to build and optimize social media advertising campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Reddit & others to increase demand and lead generation efforts.
  • Support the management of all paid social advertising efforts on behalf of the company with the goal of increasing awareness, consideration and conversion.
  • Work with stakeholders, including internal teams and external agencies, to build, execute and analyze social media campaigns.
  • Collaborate with organic social and other paid media colleagues to ensure strategies are aligned across all channels.
  • Work with internal creative teams to develop creative across a variety of ad types and ad platforms, maintaining a unified brand voice.
  • Utilize reporting to measure, evaluate, and analyze paid social campaign performance, providing recommendations and optimizations on an ongoing basis.
  • Actively test and analyze targeting, ad creative, landing pages and placements to drive results.
  • Assist in the usage and adoption of social media advocacy program (FirstUp/Dynamic Signal).
  • Support the day-to-day management of growing social media advocacy program.
  • Submit, review, and approve social content from across the organization.
  • Analyze results and grow the adoption of the platform across the organization.
  • Collaborate across the organization to support account-based marketing activities.
  • Support field marketing and paid media teams with the day-to-day execution of ABM strategy.
  • Responsibilities to include building campaigns, drafting media plans and analyzing results. 



  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field or equivalent industry experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with paid social media buying and analysis
  • Direct experience using social media ad platforms such as Facebook Ads Manager or LinkedIn Campaign Manager
  • Understanding of digital media KPIs & best practices
  • Attention to detail, positive energy, and a willingness to learn
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Critical thinker and problem-solver



  • Agency experience a plus
  • Facebook ads certification
  • Prior experience executing B2B demand generation campaigns
  • Prior experience with employee advocacy programs
  • Prior experience with Salesforce a plus
