SUMMARY

The Sr. Sales Analyst is responsible for compiling and analyzing sales and market data and presenting valuable feedback and actionable insights to guide our promotional and sales activities. The successful Sr. Sales Analyst will compile and analyze large amounts of data, accurately project sales trends, and provide practical guidance to optimize sales strategies and increase market share. The Sr. Sales Analyst will be responsible for building and maintaining reports using PowerBI and Excel.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare sales reports, dashboards and documents for the Sales Team as well as segment leaders and internal partners including Marketing, Product Business Units and Finance.
  • Develop analytical solutions and identify data trends that generate actionable insights to better support business objectives.
  • Participate in global planning process, with a focus on reporting and process improvement.
  • Supports the design and execution of sales plans and objectives.
  • Understand core business processes and acts as subject matter expert on department's use of systems, reports and tools to create data solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Partners with Digital Transformation to implement solutions and/or system enhancements to eliminate manual processes.
  • Monitor and evaluate sales performance.
  • Inspect and evaluate data sources and systematic applications and makes recommendations on enhancements.
  • Manage full cycle analytics projects including communicating project and work statuses, accomplishments and roadblocks.
  • Analyze competitive activity as well as customer and market trends.
  • Identifies process gaps and recommends solutions to drive efficiency and best practice for our sales organization.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and implement innovative solutions to increase process efficiency
  • Partners with key stakeholders to understand the evolving needs of the business to anticipate and deliver new reports and dashboards that drive value.
  • Develop strong relationships with Commercial Systems teams to enhance utilization of its CRM system and reporting capabilities.
  • Partner with global sales operations teams to enhance data and process consistency across regions.   
  • Champion a continuous improvement mindset that helps define and implement process improvement opportunities
  • Provide recurring and ad hoc reporting to address business needs

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education & Years of Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field with 5+ years of relevant of sales operations or financial analysis experience OR 9+ years of relevant experience
  • Advanced working knowledge and experience in PowerBI and Excel
  • Strong data cleaning and assessment
  • Strong projection and forecasting skills with the ability to understand the evolving needs of the business
  • Strong data analytics skills
  • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent prioritization skills and ability to receive and process multiple requests efficiently
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information at the highest level
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English and in the local language of the territory

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA
  • Experience with project management
