SUMMARY
The Senior Analyst – Corporate FP&A (financial planning & analysis) will contribute to a team that leads all facets of financial forecasting, investor guidance, annual budgeting, and long-term planning.  

 

The primary function of this role is to support the forecasting and reporting of key top-line metrics to internal and external stakeholders while also providing accurate and timely ad hoc analysis to senior leadership.  This role reports to the Manager of Corporate FP&A.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly revenue forecasts using inputs from Sales and Accounting. 
  • Model various operating and currency scenarios (upside, downside, constant currency, etc.)
  • Consolidate monthly and quarterly reporting deliverables while analyzing results and distilling key trends
  • Update both short- and long-term financial models on a monthly basis while accounting for changes in actual results, sales forecasts, and foreign currency fluctuations, among other variables
  • Develop new efficiencies and improve accuracy in forecasting and reporting processes
  • Understand the ‘how’ and the ‘why’ behind our operating results and forecasts and present findings clearly and concisely to FP&A management
  • Support Corporate FP&A team with ad hoc analysis while delivering insight that enables strategic decision-making by senior leadership
  • Achieve Alteryx certification and utilize the tool to develop new workflows that drive more efficiency and accuracy in our processes while delivering greater insight to management
  • Support digital transformation initiatives to increase automation and accuracy within the FP&A function

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics (other quantitative disciplines acceptable with requisite financial analysis experience)
  • Three years of experience with financial modeling and analysis
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office software
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in building or enhancing different types of financial models
  • Ability to prioritize competing projects/deliverables, meet deadlines, collaborate with other business functions, and work well independently
  • Strong presentation skills

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in Finance or other business-related field
  • Experience with financial analysis for public multinationals in the software / tech space strongly preferred
  • Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) and Alteryx
  • Experience with software revenue financial modeling or accounting
  • CPA
