SUMMARY
ANSYS, Inc. seeks Senior Application Engineer SCBU to work in Canonsburg, PA
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Contribute to the support of software products and supporting systems.
• Use advanced technical and problem-solving skills to help the team tackle complex issues, satisfy customer requirements, and translate customer's requirements into exciting new product features.
• Develop competence in one or more products working independently and be recognized as an expert.

• Work on-site with customers under minimal supervision.
• Deliver training/education to customers.
• Translate customer's requirements into a product feature.
• Learn new tasks and adapt to change, establish priorities, and handle various tasks simultaneously, perform job under pressure or in critical situations.
• Understand a customer’s organization, their competitive environment.
• Identify, articulate, quantify, and prove Ansys value to the customer.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field of study and three (3) years of experience in a related position.
• Alternate Acceptable Education and Work Experience Requirement: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field of study, and five (5) years of experience in a related position.
• Work experience or academic coursework must have included:
• Experience with TCL and Python;
• Experience with semiconductor and systems design specializing in digital, analog, Mixed-Signal and RF;
• Experience with large-scale commercial software support;
• Experience with simulation methodologies, running simulation benchmarks, and modeling and simulation of engineered products and processes;
• Experience with triage workflow issues.
• Additional work location information: Telecommute work from home position within commuting distance to an Ansys office, in office at least 2 days a week
