The Senior Sales Analyst is responsible for supporting annual quota planning processes and managing the exception and change request process to annual sales quotas and sales credits. This role will redevelop and own tools supporting intake, priority management, tracking and communication related to these exception requests. This role will also support the execution of strategic initiatives for the Sales Operations team.


Work closely with the Manager and Director of Sales Operations in the execution of strategic initiatives for the sales team including:

  • Re-defining and re-developing a scalable process for intake, prioritization, analysis and status reporting of exception and change requests.
  • Support the annual quota planning process, management, and ongoing administration.
  • Report and provide insight to support the decision-making and strategic planning of the sales management team.
  • Support program management activities for the exception and change request process; administer required meetings, status updates, cross functional touchpoints, and communication.
  • Establish recurring communication plans with sales leadership to close out exception and change requests.
  • Perform administrative and analytical tasks within the company’s quota setting and quota management systems.
  • Serve as contact person for managers and senior management regarding quota questions.
  • Conduct training and mentor new and existing team members on sales operations related activities.
  • Support front line sales in understanding the commission plan.



  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree 
  • Years of Experience: 3+ years’ experience in Sales Operations, Project Management, Finance or related field
  • Highly analytical ability can leverage raw unorganized data into actionable insight.
  • Prior project management or agile experience
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent prioritization skills (self and program backlog) and ability to receive and process multiple requests efficiently.
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with all levels of organization.
  • Proven ability to effectively define and manage expectations with all levels of organization.
  • Ability to think independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information at the highest level.



  • Focused and versatile team player who is comfortable under pressure, ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability.
  • Energetic and collaborative individual with a propensity towards perpetual learning and continuous improvement.
  • Expert with Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, SharePoint Custom Lists, Forms)
  • Experience with managing prioritized project backlogs and supporting tools (i.e. JIRA)
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.com or other CRM systems
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Siebel or other order management systems
  • Sound business and technical acumen
