The Product Program Communications Specialist will work to ensure that information critical to the smooth operation of the Product and Product Marketing teams is documented, shared, and clearly communicated. You will collaborate with team members to transform tribal knowledge into documented, accessible content that will enable and empower the Product Management organization and other organizations where applicable. The result of your work will be a one-stop-shop for information about the operations, plans, and processes of the Product and Product Marketing teams, including product release preparation schedules, how-to articles, process diagrams, and more. This intranet site then facilitates onboarding new team members, coordinating team member actions, and communicating important messages to the community members. Beyond content creation, you will continuously improve the quality, discoverability, and promotion of information.



  • Create an intranet site focused on the Product Management and Product Marketing organization’s processes and business plans. A successful site will become a frequently used resource both for members of these organizations as well as those interested in the work being done by this group
  • Design and maintain Product Management processes and information including categories, tagging, and related structures to improve findability and usability of important information related to different functional areas of the team
  • Work with subject matter experts to document knowledge, expand content, and maintain accuracy over time
  • Develop programs and processes to manage knowledge across the lifecycle including identifying duplicates, retiring stale knowledge, optimizing workflows, enriching and promoting frequently used knowledge, while enhancing underrepresented knowledge assets
  • Parse multiple sources of information and consolidate into concise summaries tailored for diverse audiences
  • Champion a culture where anytime a question is asked and answered, staff document that answer on the intranet site for future users.
  • Analyze content contribution frequency, content usage, identify key contributors, and address adoption issues and gaps
  • Prioritize content development based on audience size, timeline, usage and goal-driven metrics
  • Proactively communicate with product, marketing, ACE, and other cross-functional partners to ensure the quality, discoverability, and accuracy of the content you create and develop
  • Create, streamline, and maintain a collaborative content creation & editing process which allows staff with the correct permissions to author or edit content.
  • Organize content expert groups to own, curate, and maintain content for their domain



  • BS in Marketing, Communications or Engineering
  • Basic familiarity with SharePoint, intranet sites, web-based help desk or forum software, or other multi-author content management tools
  • Strengths in process definition and improvement
  • Demonstrates user centricity in designing and developing content management and access strategies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment



  • Experience managing internal SharePoint sites
  • Knowledge and application of standards, procedures and practices used for information and content lifecycle management
  • Experience to effectively document processes and business flows using diagramming solutions such as Visio
