SUMMARY
The Senior Tax Accountant, Tax Technology and will work closely with the Senior Manager, Tax on all aspects of domestic and foreign tax accounting. The main responsibilities will be to implement tax technology throughout the tax department, and to assist with the preparation of federal and state provision calculations in accordance with ASC 740, and the foreign affiliate tax provisions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implementation of tax technology to streamline processes, automate manual activities, and support continuous improvement initiatives in order to increase efficiencies within the tax department
- Assist with the quarterly and annual income tax provisions of domestic affiliates
- Review, or in limited cases prepare, quarterly and annual income tax provisions of foreign affiliates as assigned
- Act as the HQ tax liaison to assigned foreign affiliates
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience involving exposure to basic concepts of taxation
- Experience with Alteryx
- Strong technical and comprehensive knowledge of the Internal Revenue Code
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have strong organization skills and demonstrate an attention to detail
- Must show ability to multi-task and work well independently
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Extensive experience in developing Alteryx workflows to assist in tax process improvements
- Alteryx Core or Advanced Certification
- Experience with Power BI, RPA and other tax technologies preferred
- Public accounting, Big 4 experience preferred
- CPA certification preferred
- Experience in a multinational corporate tax department a plus
- Proficiency with ASC 740 and U.S. GAAP a plus
