SUMMARY

Leveraging internal and external domain expertise, the Campaign Manager partners with stakeholders from across the Ansys organization and strategic partner ecosystem to develop, deploy and report on marketing programs comprised of targeted campaigns to improve awareness, reputation and demand for Ansys and our portfolio in this market.  
 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Develop a strategic marketing program for Ansys aligned with specific business priorities and objectives as they evolve over time
  • Build meaningful, relevant touchpoints along a customer journey using content, digital, events, media relations and sponsorships in an integrated approach
  • Manage and coordinate a virtual team of marketing channel specialists (digital, PR, social, event management, etc.), product and field marketing to define, execute and measure campaigns that align with and amplify brand, thought leadership and product and solution marketing plans
  • Collaborate with internal domain experts (sales, business units, application engineering, corporate, product and field marketing), customers, the strategic partner ecosystem and external consultants to develop program and campaign messaging and create innovative campaign assets
  • Lead strategic partner comarketing activities where appropriate
  • Create nurture stream and sales toolkits to support sales enablement and channel marketing
  • Evaluate, share and modify campaigns, as needed, to incorporate changing market conditions and competitive approaches
  • Manage all aspects of program and campaign execution including a regular cadence of closed loop KPI reporting against business objectives

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10 years of marketing communications and marketing campaign experience, preferably in engineering or engineering software, with demonstrable examples of success
  • Expertise in campaign design and deployment, message development and results analysis and reporting
  • Understanding of engineering software, product development, manufacturing and maintenance processes
  • Experience with engineering/enterprise software platform deployments and associated business initiatives and challenges
  • Exceptional collaboration skills and the ability to credibly engage with cross functional leaders to drive results in a fast-pace environment
  • Proven ability to successfully manage virtual teams
  • Strong organizational and project management experience leveraging data to drive decisions

  • Self-motivated, highly organized, detail oriented
  • Exhibit proactive capabilities, forward thinking to address issues before they arise
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 applications and a project management platform such as Monday.com required
  • Results-driven
  • Exceptional time management and project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize as needed
  • Highly agile with the ability to pivot, learn quickly, synthesize and act based on data analytics and learnings
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including strong verbal, listening and written communication
  • Executive presence
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with a major in Marketing or Communications, or a major in a relevant engineering discipline with subsequent marketing qualifications or equivalent experience


Reports to:  Director, Industry Marketing

Position location is flexible

Travel as required (25% travel expected)
