This role will be responsible for supporting all global learning and development as well as key talent management initiatives.  The incumbent will focus on completing needs assessments, identifying solutions, designing programs, authoring the instructional design for courses as well as facilitation of the courses that Ansys offers to employees. 



  • Lead overall learning and development strategy, planning and global implementation efforts across Ansys.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify gaps in skills and assess new learning and development needs.  Close knowledge and skill gaps by designing and building learning experiences including innovative scalable learning solutions. Own the execution and roll out of solutions, including communications, curriculum development and facilitation.
  • Design and implement innovative learning and development solutions to meet critical learning needs for early in career professionals as well as emerging, mid-level and senior-level leaders at ANSYS.
  • High impact facilitation of custom and vendor provided content to global audiences of employees and leaders at all levels.
  • Assess existing assets.  Review program curriculum and impact, collect and analyze user feedback.  Identify content gaps and build plans to address it.
  • Define, implement and iterate on metrics to measure training programs and impact, effectiveness, appropriateness and utility.  Manage training dashboards and track/report the progress and performance of the partner training programs.  Develop data driven insights and evaluate trade-offs to make sound recommendations.
  • Create a global community of practice to share best practices on instructional design, technology and partners to ensure creation and delivery of outstanding training experiences.
  • Create standardized documented processes and ensure that they are followed to ensure sustainable learning and development operations.
  • Manage partner vendors and their services.



  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in the Human Resources, organization development, psychology, instructional design, consulting, adult learning or related roles implementing learning programs.
  • Prior experience in talent assessment, learning and development and/or instructional design methodologies, tools and techniques.
  • Strong project management experience.  Prefer experience managing large projects to completion including creating and managing project plans.
  • Strong ability to collaborate and influence without authority.
  • Strong thought leadership skills bringing outside-in thinking using benchmarking and best practices to bring innovative solutions to enable leaders and employees to be more productive and effective
  • Experience with training course design and facilitation.
  • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong cross-cultural competence with ability to work inclusively with diverse teams globally
  • Strong technical skills, specifically with strong PowerPoint, Excel, Course Writing Technology, e-learning or authoring tools and LMS experience.



  • Certifications for licensed assessments and training content.
  • Experience in designing learning solutions in technology companies.
