SUMMARY
The Integration Architect is responsible for designing integration components, standards, frameworks, and processes for real-time scalable micro-services and web-services based architecture. The architect will advise and help co-lead development teams to ensure proper frameworks and standards are followed. Additionally, the architect handles the overall integration solution and will be the lead technical SME on MuleSoft and SOA technologies. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with stakeholders as a Mulesoft and Oracle SOA subject matter expert, architect integration patterns and designs, present options, and help to build full solutions to meet business needs
  • Drive technical architecture and design choices ahead of the product builds
  • Provide overall guidance to propose solutions, anticipate new releases, keep current with integration patterns and methodologies, advocate micro- and web- services based architectures. 
  • Guarantee consistency with the Enterprise Architecture guidelines Document design decisions, process and data flows for the development team  
  • Participate in sprint planning sessions to anticipate design work or issues, and in Agile daily standup to help resolve blockers and make technical decisions.  
  • Write and maintain user stories for technical architecture, data migrations, and data flows  
  • Provide expertise to application development teams to help to resolve technical challenges 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of experience in architecting, developing and delivering integration and data migration projects with deep expertise in Oracle SOA, REST, and MuleSoft integration technologies
  • Prior experience (3+ years) as an integration developer required
  • Must hold at least one MuleSoft and one Oracle SOA certification. Multiple certifications preferred
  • Experience orchestrating integration use cases involving multiple systems and sophisticated business logic tying in system, process, and experience API layers
  • Integration with Salesforce, CPQ (Salesforce or Oracle), Oracle EBS (On-Prem and Cloud), and Snowflake
  • Demonstrate API based integration methods with custom/ home grown apps 
  • Experience with Anypoint studio, Mule ESB, JMS, Mule MMC, SOA, Kafka, and designing micro-services
  • Deep knowledge on designing and developing enterprise services using RAML in Mule, REST based APIs, SOAP Web Services, HTTP, MQ and use of different mule connectors
  • Deep knowledge with various MuleSoft offerings and design patterns
  • Experience with MuleSoft, Salesforce, and EBS Connectors
  • Experience with MuleSoft On-Premises and Cloud solutions
  • Experience with message queue design patterns
  • Experience designing, developing, securing and managing APIs via API Gateways and proxies
  • Prior experience as a data engineer and application developer preferred
