SUMMARY
The HQ Campus Facilities Supervisor is a key contributor and supervisory role within Global Real Estate and Facilities Management. This position is directly responsible for ensuring consistent and optimized processes and services are delivered across a 3 building Corporate Headquarters Campus; home to the Ansys Global Executive Leadership Team. In addition to managing daily building operations and services, the HQ Campus Facilities Supervisor is responsible to create, maintain and monitor the annual facilities capital and operating budgets, as well as to proactively manage campus-wide occupancy. Successful candidate will have a strong background in Facilities and Property Management, as well as data center management, and be details oriented with a proven track record of relationship building and problem solving. Excellent communications skills are required as this position interacts with all job functions and levels in an 800 seat Corporate Headquarters campus while driving the success of important strategic and tactical goals and objectives. Two facilities team members, and multiple contractors reporting to the HQ Campus Facilities Supervisor, support daily operations and services. This position reports to the Head of Facilities for HQ Campus with a dotted line to the Head of Americas Facilities regarding the HQ Data Center. Successful candidate will be expected to come to the office every day during an extended onboarding process, as this will be essential to incumbent’s success in relationship building while learning about the business, the campus, and the data center. Post-onboarding, Ansys is pleased to be able to offer flexible work arrangements to qualifying employees. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Assist / coordinate the collection of undocumented facilities data to support the implementation of a facilities management tool, as well as to support cross functional initiatives including but not limited to: Environmental and Social Governance (ESG / Sustainability), Cyber Security Roadmap, Global Security program development, Business Resiliency program development, and the Global Health and Safety program development. 
•    Coordination of day-to-day facilities operations including but not limited to: preventative maintenance, repairs, security, and health & safety 
•    Tracking and proactively developing strategies around space occupancy, capacity, and growth planning
•    Stakeholder engagement to proactively address changing business needs, execute on business strategy and predict business unit requirements for the workplace, infrastructure, and facilities on a quarterly basis and in tandem with the annual planning process
•    Owner of Canonsburg campus facilities budget – 2 leased and one owned site 
•    Builds and maintains key external partner relationships with landlord and vendors 
•    Drive operational efficiency, standardization, and sustainability
•    Responsibility for two direct reports, and multiple contractors supporting campus services. 
•    Other duties as assigned 


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
•    Six or more years of experience as a building manager, property manager, or maintenance/facilities supervisor
•    Valid PA Driver’s License – For company vehicle use
•    Possesses strong communications, customer service, presentation, and change management skills
•    Financial and business acumen in multiple cultural environments
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel
•    Must be able to work on the phone, computer and stand for an extended periods of time
•    Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
•    Canonsburg Position – Residency requirement of 30 minutes or less driving distance to the facilities in event of critical data center incident or other facilities emergency.
•    Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
•    Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; alternatively, individuals could have gained the same level of knowledge and skill through on-the-job experience and training
•    Experience with utilizing and/or implementing an IWMS is a plus
•    Experience managing data center infrastructure and planning is a plus
