The ESG Lead manages the company’s global ESG strategy. This key role recommends and aligns the ESG strategy and initiatives with stakeholder groups, including the company’s board of directors and senior leadership, employees and investors. Responsibilities include establishing a global ESG strategy, building an ESG narrative, managing content collection and validation, and interfacing with external stakeholders, including through alignment with external standards and agencies.  



  • Provide leadership in ESG strategy setting by recommending and aligning strategy and initiatives with stakeholder groups
  • Collaborate with internal teams to determine and prioritize the Company’s near-term and long-range ESG vision
  • In collaboration with the external communications team, develop the narratives for the ESG strategy and initiatives, tailored for stakeholder audiences
  • Measure and drive alignment of data-driven ESG goals and metrics
  • Maintain the ESG roadmap and project plan, driving accountability for achievement of goals and metrics
  • In collaboration with the external communications team, concept, plan and write ESG publications aimed at key stakeholder groups, including the annual corporate responsibility report, in coordination with subject matter experts and functional leads across the company
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in ESG reporting
  • Manage responses to rating agencies and surveys, including SASB, TCFD and ISS
  • Coordinate reporting for and selectively project manage social impact and green initiatives
  • Coordinate the sourcing and validation of ESG data and content for reporting and responses to stakeholder queries
  • Maintain expertise in global ESG trends and standards and educate internal stakeholders



  • Bachelor's degree 
  • A minimum of 1 year of professional experience in ESG and a total of 6 years of professional experience at a publicly-traded company in a related area (will consider relevant agency experience) 
  • Excellent project management, organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and finding creative solutions to complex challenges 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to adapt to different formats (press releases, annual reports, website, etc.) 
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely and communicate effectively with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders 
  • Excellent quantitative skills and established analytical ability 
  • A working knowledge of leading ESG frameworks; SASB, TCFD, CDP, etc



  • Law Degree, MBA/Master’s Degree or other Post Graduate work in Business, Sustainability/Environmental Management or related field
