SUMMARY  

The Global Sales and Order Specialist Leader directs the firm’s Sales and Order Operations teams in the Americas, EMEA and APAC.  This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and ensuring the effective governance and operation of the Company’s policies and procedures for the global order process.  This position works closely with Sales Management, Legal, Finance, IT and Business Operations to ensure the order process meets all financial, operational and compliance requirements. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and execute a scalable and repeatable global order process focused on maximizing the effectiveness of both our business processes and supporting systems
  • Lead a business process optimization to ready Global Sales and Order Operations for the Company’s planned future CPQ evaluation and re-implementation
  • Overall policy governance; ensures compliance in accordance with GAAP for all license types as well as classification of new and renewal sales
  • Regularly collaborates and communicates with internal groups such as Legal, Finance and Business Operations on complex order situations
  • Manages and initiates renewal opportunities within the CRM including reconciliation activities for maximum renewal potential management
  • Administers Revenue and Support split letters as required and secures internal approvals
  • Meets regularly with supervisor/manager to review team objectives and individual goals
  • Coordinate with Sales Management to plan for month end and quarter end capacity
  • Supports account administration activities such as completion of supplier forms, license change forms and transfers and assignments
  • Implements and executes process activities necessary to support export compliance requirements
  • Develops proposal templates specific to solutions / configurations

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business, an engineering discipline or other relevant field.
  • 10 years of relevant experience in Sales, Sales Operations, Management Consulting, Finance or Program Management.
  • Extensive knowledge with business process optimizations
  • Excellent people management skills including resolving conflict, coaching and developing others, promoting teamwork, and performance management
  • Prior experience supporting a global Sales organization
  • Strong understanding of financial profitability concepts and measures (understanding the Company’s P&L)


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of simulation software industry
  • Exhibit leadership characteristics including understanding the business, making complex decisions, getting work accomplished through others, managing work processes, inspiring others
  • Ability to travel globally
