SUMMARY 

The Communications Coordinator supports the Communications Team in maintaining trackers, databases, pipelines and metrics. The candidate will support a handful of communications teams and workstreams. The role requires excellent organization, strong attention to detail, data entry consistency, and effective collaboration skills. 

 

RESPONSIBLITIES 

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Ansys' business, including industries the company operates in, products and applications, and partnerships.
  • Maintain our database of published customer stories, references and usage permissions 
    • Own real-time updates to the database when new assets are developed and approved 
    • Monitor content permission release forms to ensure they are stored in a central location and accessible from the customer reference and DAM databases 
    • Monitor file uploads for adherence to naming convention, correct file type, correct topical ownership, correct categorization, asset retirement/expiration, tagging, etc. 
  • Maintain our customer relationship database and customer content pipelines in Monday.com  
  • Maintain our global press coverage tracker 
    • Collaborate with PR agencies, review entries to ensure accuracy and consistency 
    • Manage clips tracking and integration of new placements into tracker
    • Establish and maintain deadlines for updates on a monthly basis
    • Refine Boolean search terms to optimize Cision database
  • Assist with metrics, tracking, and reporting for various assets  
    • Review and send twice-weekly clips report 
    • Review and send weekly customer news scan  
    • Support monthly metrics reports and quarterly results updates  
  • Send weekly customer news scans and clip reports to company 
  • Support the team with research (general media landscape, trends or customer intel) and PowerPoint needs  
  • Note: there will be growth opportunities to support the PR team once core responsibilities are mastered 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

  • One-two years at a PR agency (internships will be considered)   
  • Strong project management skills  
  • Process oriented mindset 
  • Experience with MS Office, including Excel
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask 
  • Attention to detail 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Experience with Monday.com 
  • Experience with Cision
  • Database administration and/or digital asset management experience preferred
