SUMMARY
The Senior Product Specialist will working closely with Application Engineers and product developers to drive product development for the Totem and PathFinder family and provide expert help in deployment of complex advanced features. The Senior Product Specialist uses advanced technical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex issues, ensure product quality, shape direction of new product features.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop competence in one or more products working independently and be recognized as an expert

Lead portions of projects and motivates others towards a common goal. Displays desire to get involved. Instills confidence in others

Work with Customers & Application Engineers to understand emerging needs / requirements and create product specifications

Validate new product features & ensure it meets the requirements and quality

Provide expertise to application engineers and customers in deploying advanced solutions

Develop the trust and respect of team members

Learn new tasks and adapt to change, establish priorities, and handle various tasks simultaneously, perform job under pressure or in critical situations
- Regional subject matter expert in at least one product area
- Develop training/educational material for customers
- Provide neat, accurate, and thorough work in a timely manner
- Complete assignments without specific directions, recognize problems, and apply or suggest viable solutions
- This role may require between 10-15% travel for customer visits
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- BS in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 5 years' experience, MS with 3 years’ experience, or PhD with 1 year of experience
- Significant commercial experience with IC design, or support of EDA
- Excellent technical knowledge and significant commercial experience with EDA/CAD software tools particularly on custom layout, STA, Extraction-SPEF/DSPF and Spice enabling IC design, Analog Mixed Signal circuit design, RFIC design, PMIC, and conceptual knowledge of a specific domain (e.g. power integrity, signal integrity, ESD etc.)
- Proven track record of crafting robust and efficient code
- Solid TCL, Python programming skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Master's Degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Analog/Mixed-Signal
- Technical knowledge of circuit behavior, physical design, timing and noise analysis, or power noise analysis
- Experience leading projects and delivering high-quality support for a large-scale commercial software
- Ability to overcome obstacles and drive projects to completion
- Technical knowledge and experience with power modeling of ICs, IR drop analysis, thermal analysis, advanced process technology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a geographically distributed team
